Pat Dashiell has specialized in one-of-a-kind design for large custom homes over the past 35 years. She has a B.S. degree from the University of Texas, Department of Interior Design, with a minor in Architecture. She is an expert in stone, textiles, custom furniture, carpets, and hand-made papers.
For the past five years, Ms. Dashiell has engaged in extensive remodeling of older homes in Austin, Texas, a business that grew from a very challenging first project. In 2003 and 2004, Pat received ASID awards for her work in Kitchen Design. Her previous practice, based in Houston and Dallas, also included clients from Mexico who purchased second residences in the United States.
Relocating back to Houston last year, Ms. Dashiell continues to incorporate the principles of Universal Design in all her projects.
